Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the 2mouse app ("2mouse", "we") collects, why, who it's shared with, and how to delete it. If you have a question, email zazabusiness23@gmail.com.

Your messages go to AI companies

2mouse doesn't run its own AI. Each message you send, any photo with it, and the earlier messages in that chat go from our server to OpenRouter, which passes them to the company that makes the AI you picked, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Alibaba, Mistral, Meta, Moonshot AI and the other model makers listed in the app. The same goes for what you've told the AIs about yourself (About me, and your instructions for an AI), which is sent with your messages so they can use it. A small AI model also reads the first message of a chat to give the chat a short title.

These companies process your messages under their own privacy policies, and some may keep them for a limited time, for example to detect abuse. They may be in the United States, China or other countries. Don't send anything you wouldn't want these companies to see.

2mouse asks for your permission before your first message is sent.

As a guest

You can use 2mouse without an account. Your chats, contacts, photos and About me stay on your phone. Your messages still pass through our server on their way to the AI, but we don't store them. We create an anonymous ID for your phone and keep a count of how many messages you send each day, with your time zone, so the daily limit resets at your midnight.

With an account

When you make an account, we store:

• Your sign-in details: your email address, and your name if Sign in with Apple or Google shares it. If you sign up with a password, it's stored only as a secure hash.
• Your chats: your messages, photos, the AIs' replies, the web pages a reply drew on, group chats and chat titles.
• Your settings: custom contacts, your instructions for each AI, and About me, the facts about you that you or the AIs saved so every AI can use them. You can see, change and delete these in Settings.
• Notes the AIs saved for you, if you use the Notes connector.
• A daily message count and your time zone, for the daily limit.

Your data is stored with Supabase, which hosts our database and server.

Connectors

Web search and web pages. When an AI searches the web, the search goes through OpenRouter to its search provider. When it reads a page, our server fetches the page, so the website sees our server, not your phone.

Gmail. If you connect Gmail, 2mouse gets read-only access to your email. An AI searches and reads it only when your message asks it to, and the emails it reads go to that AI to answer you. We store the access token Google gives us, which only our server can read, and nothing else from your mailbox. Disconnecting Gmail or deleting your account removes the token and revokes our access. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

2mouse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use Gmail data for ads, we don't sell it, and no person reads it unless you ask us to for support or the law requires it.

Reports

If you report an AI's reply, we store that reply, your message before it, which AI and model wrote it, and anything you add, so we can review it and make 2mouse safer. Reports are kept for up to 12 months, or until you delete your account.

Subscriptions

2mouse Pro and Elite are bought through Apple. Apple handles the payment, so we never see your card or other payment details. RevenueCat, which checks purchases with Apple for us, gets your account's ID and the record of what you bought, when, and whether it's still active. We store which plan your account is on.

On your phone

Your picks (default models, pinned and archived chats, which connectors are on) are kept on your phone. Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition, which may run on your phone or on Apple's servers under Apple's privacy policy. Read aloud runs on your phone. Photos are only used when you pick or take one, and are made smaller on your phone before they're sent.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads or use advertising or analytics trackers.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't sell or rent your data.
• We don't collect your location, contacts or anything else on your phone.

Cookies

2mouse doesn't use cookies or similar tracking, in the app or on this website, so there's nothing to consent to. Your sign-in is kept in your phone's secure storage (the iOS Keychain) so you stay signed in, and it never leaves the phone except to talk to our server.

Keeping your data safe

• Everything between the app, our server and the AI companies is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Our database only lets each account read its own data, and Gmail tokens can only be read by our server.
• Our server logs errors, not what you write.
• No person at 2mouse reads your chats unless you report one or ask us for help.

How long we keep it

• Your chats, contacts, About me and notes: until you delete them or your account.
• Reports: 12 months.
• Daily message counts: 35 days.
• Unfinished connector sign-ins: 1 day.

Expired data is deleted automatically every day.

Why we use your data

If you're in the EU, the UK or a place with similar laws, we use your data: to provide 2mouse to you under our Terms of Use (your chats, account and subscription); with your consent, which you give before your first message, to send your messages to the AI companies; and for our legitimate interest in keeping 2mouse safe and fair (daily limits and reports). Our server and the AI companies may be outside your country, including in the United States; where the law asks, they're covered by safeguards such as the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Deleting your data

With an account: Settings → Delete account deletes your account and everything stored with it, for good, and revokes 2mouse's access to Sign in with Apple and Gmail. As a guest: Settings → Delete chats on this phone removes everything stored on your phone. Deleting the app does too.

A copy of your data: Settings → Download my data saves everything stored with your account as a file.

You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your data, and you can contact your local data protection authority.

Children

2mouse isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters.
